Precision locating of rebar and utilities in concrete via UltraScan/X-ray technology ensures your project will be completed on time, within budget and problem free. Since 1970, ground penetrating radar (GPR) has been widely used in the geological and archaeological industries. Today we are able to utilize the most advanced and versatile technology – UltraScan II in 1.6 to 2.3 GHz shielded antennas in Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) and ferrous metal concrete scanning technology for Non-Destructive Testing (NDT). New integrated Electromagnetic detection systems (EM) enable us to accurately map live cables to avoid possible hazards or costly repairs. Post tension cables contain upwards of 100 000 pounds of tension that if cut, will weaken the suspended slab. In addition pressure released can cause the tension cables to break out of the concrete and cause serious injury or damage. UltraScan/X-Ray applications are highly recommended even if only anchor bolts are placed in the concrete. Multi-Crete advanced systems coupled with highly experienced operators result in precise location, depth and identification of materials embedded in concrete structures. Real time results allow us to identify potential problems on-site and work with our customers to provide a working solution before leaving the site. SIZE
